Review : Daiso Charcoal Mask.

my days are usually oh-so-alone. sian lah!

ok so today i am gonna do a review on a mask which has many good feedback. :)

i see many of these charcoal products when i go to daiso. it seems to be 1 of the best sellers, that is if i remember correctly.

a clearer view of the back, with instruction. i removed the sticker with english writing as i wanted to read the instruction.

texture,  a little sticky.

sometimes will squeeze out small bits of charcoal and it is like 1-2 small bits only. so application is still smooth.

this is how it looks after i peel it off from my T-zone. hurts a little like pricking(not sure the word).

click on the picture and can see on the left side of the mask there are some blackheads from my nose!

so now....

the good :)
1) cheap at $2.
2) easy to apply.
3) dries up completely and can peel off easily.
4) no allergic reaction for my sensitive skin.

the bad :(
1) pores are still visible after use.
2) does not remove most of blackheads and whiteheads.

this mask dries very fast, about 10-15mins but if apply thicker layer it needs more time. i wonder if the tight feeling as the mask dries up will tighten my face, making my face smaller. LOL!

i will still purchase this as i like the feeling after using this mask, less oily face although only last for a day. :D

Spirit

You're a Seeker.

Relationship

You're very romantic at heart. You believe in lifelong love and growing old together. Forever isn't a scary word to you!As a Rock Steady, you want a love that feels secure. You tend to be realistic about what makes a lifelong relationship work and understand the value of forging a love based on friendship and respect. You are ready to meet a partner who would like to build a life together and who is ready to show you some signs of devotion. You believe that a true partnership is about sharing responsibility and being able to count on one another through whatever life throws at you. Creating this kind of honesty and support means your love will steadily grow as the years go by.

Relationship tips:

So you're a Rock Steady but what tips can we give for when you're looking for love?
  1. Leave your checklists at home. Your preconceptions about what you want from a relationship may mean you miss a surprise gem that's right in front of your nose.
  2. Be honest and upfront about what you want and need from a new relationship rather than trying to live up to unrealistic expectations whether they're set by yourself or other people.
  3. Let your hair down. We know stability's your thing but why not try a fresh approach? Lighten up and be open to new experiences.
  4. Open your heart. Don't overthink things. The strongest connections are founded on spiritual intimacy.
Money

You like to take care of yourself, and looking good is important to you. If you could, you'd probably have an extensive range of designer cosmetics for those all-important touch-ups throughout the day.You have a very healthy approach to life. You know that true happiness doesn't come from material things or possessions. It goes much deeper than that and is all about valuing those things you can't put a price on. You like to care for those around you, and if they're happy, you're happy. You appreciate that both highs and lows make up the balance of life and you always try and stay spiritually strong and focused.

Health

You struggle to get moving in the morning. It's hard to find the energy to get motivated. But while you may not be a morning person, there's no question that you're on the right track with your health.Unappealing as it may seem, it would be good to try to be a bit more active every day. You might be surprised at how much you'd actually enjoy regular exercise. It may sound hard to believe, but endorphins are better than chocolate if you just give them a chance! You may even find that you're in a better mood more often. Start off with something that isn't too intimidating, like climbing the stairs instead of taking the elevator. You might even consider signing up for a few personal training sessions in the gym so that you have a program that's tailored just for you. You may need to think about making a few changes what you eat too. Maybe you could try making homemade versions of your favorite restaurant meals to reduce the sodium and fat content and eat healthier without compromising too much on taste.

Food

You like life simple and uncomplicated - it can be stressful enough without having to juggle ten pots and pans just to make some dinner. You prefer to keep things basic. Warm, homely aromas every day and the perfect Thanksgiving dinner in the fall would probably be your idea of culinary heaven. Why not treat yourself to an extravagant dessert to follow every now and again?

Home

You love the idea of living somewhere tranquil, perhaps by the sea. Taking life at a slower pace, being out in the fresh air and waking up to amazing views every single day would suit your romantic nature. It's the simple pleasures in life that can be the most meaningful for you and that help focus you.

Entertainment

You're an outdoorsy person, happiest when you can get out into the fresh air and explore what the countryside has to offer. You can't beat a few quiet hours in the peace of nature to be alone with your thoughts. Perfect for feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!

Style

Your pretty, feminine style exudes low-key elegance and charm. You don't need to be brash or falling off a pair of stilettos to get noticed. Being at ease and feeling confident in yourself works wonders. You like to keep things real and are practical, too, so you're just as comfortable getting groceries as checking out the latest designer looks.

Travel

You're open-minded and a positive thinker, so when you get the chance to go traveling, you love to head somewhere exotic and off the beaten track. For you, escapism is the ultimate in relaxation. It's the perfect antidote to the stress of everyday life. You love the feel of the sun and sea on your skin, so your perfect vacation would definitely include a beach. Even better if it's secluded and undiscovered by hordes of tourists!

Review: The Face Shop white secret brightening body scrub

another new month......

my previous post stated that i am going to post more pics.....so today a review.....

they changed packing and some ingredients so here are the pictures.......

the old packing...i have used 3 of these before they changed packing...love the smell

the new packing in tube form....smell is slightly a bit different

the back of the tube.

old packing ingredients.

new packing ingredients, click the pic for clearer viewing.

now for the swatches of the white secret body scrub....... :)

can see some white beads...mostly consist of transparent beads and will feel it when u scrub it on your skin.

there are also brown beads.

the good :)
1. light floral citrus smell. i dislike those heavy smelling body scrub and make my skin sensitive after using a few times.
2. no sensitive or allergic reaction.
3. body feels clean, no soapy feeling and no dry, tight feeling..
4. optional to use shower gel/soap before using scrub. although the SA told me need to use shower gel before scrub, i find that using it alone is fine too. :)
5. new packing in tube form, i can bring the tube to bathroom without the need to scoop out some to put in separate container.

the bad :(
1. overpriced in sg, if possible buy it online.
2. the brightening effect dont seems to last long on me. maybe it is my problem, all products i used will lose its effect after using for a period of time. i have to make lots of effort to make my skin tone lighter :(

overall i still like this product a lot and still going to purchase until i find another suitable body scrub to try/use.

hope i didnt miss out info as i always have writer's block whenever i see this white screen......no good ya! i gonna buck up!

more more reviews to come! :D
