Sunplay sample from facebook & sunplay aqua bought

today i am gonna put 2 items into a post. they are both sunblock from Sunplay....

first of all is Sunplay super block with SPF 130 PA+++ !!! this is a sample i have got from facebook sunplay sg page. get it from here now!

yes, this time got pictures for the sample bcos it arrived in 2 weeks.

ok next....... is Sunplay Skin Aqua UV Whitening SPF 25 PA++....sad, this is not sample. my mom bought the full size for $17.20 from Watsons..... now i worry about my skin allergy. hope this sun block works for me, twist fingers :)

Review: The Face Shop Shimmering BB Cream

my long overdue review...... i have taken the pictures during march.. i bought this bb cream more than a year ago....which is damn long...... ok, let's start.....

Now for the swatches........way many of them har.....i choose the pics until giddy....cos all so shimmer :s

it actually looks a bit peach color.

i realised i forgot to take pics when lightly swiped out so i tried to take a pic just now but i cant get the color right. it is difficult to take pic in night lighting :(

applied a bit too thick? it looks whitish pinkish here.

look at the amount of shimmers :O. the two arrows to show the area shimmers are most obvious

the circled part, no coverage for this bb cream :( my spots still can be seen. layering it does not work.

well, it does brighten the skin when i just started using but after some time, it does not work anymore.i looked dull yet full of shimmers on my face! BAD,really bad!

after an hour, i went to wash my hands....and......

only the shimmers left on my hand and so shiny?

 can you imagine if you applied this bb cream and later your face got oily? so not for oily skin people.

to add on.....this bb cream has fragrance, smells like powder and rose? i think it is better to use as highlights, not for whole face. i was dumb to use it for like a few months without concealer! my dark eye circles,damn horrible man! no wonder i looked weird but too slow to realise whats wrong :( i feel bad until now.

the good :)

1) brightening effect... i saw people asking questions on qoo10 asking about brightening bb creams and the korean seller recommended shimmer types as popular choice.

2) easy to apply as not creamy and not watery.

3) has spf... hmm i think still need to use separate sunblock lah :)

4) no breakouts although it has fragrance

the bad :(

1) too much shimmers. some say looks like disco ball :P LOL.

2) no coverage. for people who needs to cover eye circles, spots and acne, need to use concealer.

3) for oily skin people will look greasy. the bb cream itself is not oily actually.

4) for people who dislike or allergic to fragrance  (i am ok with it,a little fragrance for me to smell and feel good LOL)

as you can see my descriptions above, i wont be purchasing this bb cream again. so many other brands to try and i dont like looking too shiny.

today my review is not on korean makeup/skincare... it is ang mo(western) skincare product....

another wash off mask??? well i dont really like to use mask sheet so the masks i use are usally wash off, peel off and sleeping mask. :)

i got to know this mask was when the SA recommended the set extreme gentle cleanser(makeup remover) and soothing moisture mask as i was looking for a makeup remover. i bought it cause it was on offer and i need a moisture/hydrating mask. 

the first time i put it on, it has a cooling sensation which i like and leave it for 15mins then wash off with water. for months i used it this way but to realise the effects are gone, as in moisture.hydrating so i stopped a while and used back. this time i put on a thick layer on my face, avoid the eyes and lip area and leave it for an hour. i know it is very long but after i tissue the excess off with Avene toner and after that water, my skin looks glowy and hydrating. nice, i have got boing boing skin(bouncy) haha! 

sadly nowadays i didnt use this mask is because i use naruko sleeping mask, the whitening range forgot the name :( . shall check and update next time. another thing is i find my skin too oily to use that mask as it is for dry or normal sensitive skin.

so now for the swatches :)

ok summary time!

the good :)

1) moisture for dry to normal skin

2) no sensitive reaction

3) skin looks radiant 

4) a light pleasant smell (well not good for those who dislike fragrant in skincare)

the bad :(

1) a little costly i think around S$20 plus

2) needs to put on for 1hour or more to see the effect

3) has fragrance? (i am ok with fragrants)

so you girls and guys have other masks that you like to use? do share ya?

first attempt doing gradient nails with lioele nail color

nail gradient............ first attempt on only one nail.......... why? because my other nails are short and i have got eczema on my fingers!!!! :O eczema on my fingers are really a nightmare, itchy,pain,heal and cycle continues :S really lah i am gonna faint. this is also a reason for very less posts and reviews :(

back to nail gradient.....i went to google for tutorials and i decided to use sponging method :) the nail polishes i have used are as follows.... pictures plssssssss (all pictures taken at night so no natural lighting)

 Lioele nail colors.. i bought at qoo10 from this seller

 colors from left to right: No 25 Shining Pearl, No 36 Edge Blue, No 09 Sky

the seller packed the wrong color which is No 09 Sky instead of tony moly nail polish :(. i am glad that the seller immediately send me the nail color which i ordered after i mailed the pics. so i am lucky i have got an extra color. weeeeee!!!!

so now pictures of my finger :( oh ya my fingers are fugly..... the blue color looks more cool toned in pictures which is what i wanted but in real it is just blueeeeeeeee .....actually the color looks great too.

1) i have no money to buy full size all the time
2) i cant finish using the full size products (too big a bottle as i dont use much.sometimes a little goes a tooooooo long way!!!)
3) i love those small bottles esp those 5ml,10ml,20ml and 30ml sizes (i hate those samples in sachet form, feels unhygienic as no proper way to seal it after i opened or sometimes i just spilled the sachet)
4) i want to know if i am sensitive to the products..... ya.....

Review : Daiso Charcoal Mask.

my days are usually oh-so-alone. sian lah!

ok so today i am gonna do a review on a mask which has many good feedback. :)

i see many of these charcoal products when i go to daiso. it seems to be 1 of the best sellers, that is if i remember correctly. 

a clearer view of the back, with instruction. i removed the sticker with english writing as i wanted to read the instruction.

texture,  a little sticky.

sometimes will squeeze out small bits of charcoal and it is like 1-2 small bits only. so application is still smooth.

this is how it looks after i peel it off from my T-zone. hurts a little like pricking(not sure the word).

click on the picture and can see on the left side of the mask there are some blackheads from my nose! 

so now....

the good :)

1) cheap at $2.

2) easy to apply.

3) dries up completely and can peel off easily.

4) no allergic reaction for my sensitive skin.

the bad :(

1) pores are still visible after use.

2) does not remove most of blackheads and whiteheads.

this mask dries very fast, about 10-15mins but if apply thicker layer it needs more time. i wonder if the tight feeling as the mask dries up will tighten my face,making my face smaller. LOL!

i will still purchase this as i like the feeling after using this mask, less oily face although only last for a day. :D

Review: The Face Shop white secret brightening body scrub

another new month......

my previous post stated that i am going to post more pics.....so today a review.....

they changed packing and some ingredients so here are the pictures.......

now for the swatches of the white secret body scrub....... :)

can see some white beads...mostly consist of transparent beads and will feel it when u scrub it on your skin.

there are also brown beads.

the good :)

1. light floral citrus smell. i dislike those heavy smelling body scrub and make my skin sensitive after using a few times.

2. no sensitive or allergic reaction. 

3. body feels clean, no soapy feeling and no dry,tight feeling..

4. optional to use shower gel/soap before using scrub. although the SA told me need to use shower gel before scrub, i find that using it alone is fine too. :)

5. new packing in tube form, i can bring the tube to bathroom without the need to scoop out some to put in separate container.  

the bad :(

1. overpriced in sg, if possible buy it online. 

2. the brightening effect dont seems to last long on me. maybe it is my problem,all products i used will lose its effect after using for a period of time. i have to make lots of effort to make my skin tone lighter :(

overall i still like this product a lot and still going to purchase until i find another suitable body scrub to try/use.

hope i didnt miss out info as i always have writer's block whenever i see this white screen......no good ya! i gonna buck up!
